
The Academy of Traditional Karate dojo is a premiere institution which teaches the classical Okinawan Style of Matsubayashi Shorin-Ryu karate. The Academy employs Internationally Certified Instructors and is an accredited member of Shidokan International. The Academy has been teaching life skills since 1989, for over 30 years.
The Managing Director of the Academy of Traditional Karate dojo is Hanshi Todd Keane, a Hachidan (8th degree black belt) in Shorin-Ryu. Hanshi Keane has studied martial arts for more than 35 years. Prior to starting the Academy, Hanshi Keane taught karate at Bentley College, where he received a BS in Computer Information Systems and an MBA with a Finance Concentration.
The Assistant Managing Director is Shidoshi Kristen Keane, a Rokyudan (6th Degree Black Belt). Shidoshi Keane has studied martial arts for over 25 years, and is a graduate of Merrimack College, and mother of 2 Karate students!
The Academy of Traditional Karate dojo is conveniently located off Route 93 in Wilmington Massachusetts.
